Chapter 2 release date delayed over health issues

Hello everyone.

Most of you were expecting a November release and so was I. Unfortunately, it was delayed to December due to health issues. Said issues culminated yesterday when I landed in the hospital from massive pain and further kidney damage. The hours I spent made me realize that it's no use stressing over a release date if it means I get such bad health I aren't able to work on it at all. Both mentally and physically, these past months have been pretty draining.

Now, what does it mean for the game? Well, after chapter 2's release I'm aiming to make it  a side project I work on while I go back to recovering and working on more main game content. I am in charge of making enough content for two games after all, and the stress made me severely ill-tempered and unable to work on any of the two.

I was advised to lower my stress levels and look after my health for the upcoming weeks, so it's what I'll do. However, it doesn't mean the game will stop production. But I will stop sacrificing sleep over getting an extra asset done in a day. These past days have been pretty scary as I felt I had ruined my health over a few more assets done sooner. I treat myself like I'm a content machine, but it's time I slow down before I do even worse damage to my health.

Like I've been telling people these past weeks, I wish I was two but I'm not. Chapter 2 is nearly finished but my speed dropped extensively, so I will not be able to give a specific release date other than "soon". So thank you for your patience once again, and I'll see you soon.

please for the love of god don't push yourself too hard. As an up and coming game developer (still in college for the major, but up and coming kinda) I get the stress of crunch. Please be careful. Your health needs to come first.

Take your time and get better, a game shouldn't come before health.

HOPE YOU GET BETTER SOON

hope you get some much needed rest.

That's ok your health is MUCH more important get yourself some R&R and get back too it when you can. Trust me I play some grindy games like Warframe for example and I can tell you doing the same thing for far too long does a number on you physically and mentally.
