Devlog #8 - The next chapter
Hello again!
Well then. Now that chapter 1 of "Pandemommyum! Hot Single Moms in My Area" has been released, let us waste no time!
Chapter 2
Let's discuss chapter 2! With chapter 1 finished, my goal is to go full throttle on this next chapter and have the game ready in around a month. It may sound nuts, specially since I took 8 weeks to finish chapter 1, but I can assure you it's possible. I would like to jump fully into the development of this visual novel and have the first game complete before the end of the year.
Chapter 2 will likely be a paid game. Finishing the game in such a short time comes with a lot of time spent working 24/7 on the game. With that said, here's a quick rundown of what I managed to finish for chapter 2!
- all backgrounds are done
- 2/3 characters prites are done, all are missing the expressions however
- music needs a do-over
- 4/7 CGs (plus variants) are complete!
- script is 70% complete
I'd say we're around halfway there! And the month has only started! Neato :D
Future plans and potential Patreon
Like I've written a couple devlogs ago, I intend to make more chapters and more games out of this plot. And for that to happen, I will likely set up a Patreon page to help fund chapter 3 and any future installments in the Pandemommyum franchise! Chapter 3 will require tons more work than chapter 1 and 2, as it'll have more art assets such as character sprites and CGs planned. With that, I'm also planning to launch a Discord to have linked to the Patreon, where I could ask any interested patrons for feedback! I would love to have a direct line of contact with you guys!
I hope you're looking forward to chapter 2 as much as I am! Do remember, chapter 1 is available for free for a limited time!

If going with a paid release for Chapter 2 please make it so have more then paypal as a payment option .
I read up on the subject of payment alternatives, so I'll do my best but do know I'm fairly new to this!
However if anything goes wrong and somehow makes an alternative impossible, I am also planning a Patreon that would allow you access to the game regardless. So do be on the lookout for that when it arrives! Sorry if it causes any inconvenience.
