Time for another update on how things are going!

Progress on chapter 2

Chapter 2 is overall nearly finished! It's impressive how quickly I was able to finish this one. While the last chapter took several months, chapter 2 has had around 3 weeks of development! For a general update:

• Character sprites are fully done
• 5/7 CGs (plus variants) are complete
• The music is ready
• The script is around 95% complete

So, it's pretty much going smoothly! Chapter 3 however won't have as speedy of a development I feel, as chapter 2 had some development momentum to it in the form of a rough draft for the script and some ideas layed out for CGs, as well as backgrounds.

Now, let's talk launch dates and future stuff.

Launch dates and future stuff

Despite the chapter itself being nearly done, it does not mean it'll have an early launch. As you may know from past devlogs, I have a wrist and neck injury I'm still recovering from. Thus, I developed the game quickly in order to save myself a handful of days of free time to rest properly.

And as I intend to dive head straight into working on the visual novel once I sell chapter 2, I also need to set things up properly. That includes a Patreon, a Discord server to go with it and a promotional teaser for chapter 2. I do also plan to make a behind-the-scenes video explaining my workflow making the visual novel.

Also, I am planning out an Android release for each chapter of Pandemommyum. And I was considering keeping the PC version of chapter 1 free while having the Android port be paid! But that's things to plan out after I'm done with these last bits of chapter 2.

Alright, I'm headed off for now. I need to finish up on these last 2 CGs and that one dialogue interaction on the script.
