Here's a general update on the visual novel's development for this week.

Progress status

Last week I expected that working linearly would boost the writing bar. And although it did, the rest of the assets received a significant boost in production as well! Finished writing a whole section at the start, as well as 1 CG, a few characters sprites and 2 tracks.

Conclusion

One thing I did notice was the ambitious nature of chapter 3 has led to an improper distribution between the number of SFW and NSFW artworks. While the planned amount for chapter 3 contains as many artworks as chapter 1 and 2 combined, only 5 of them are planned to be NSFW. With some of the 15 SFW artworks containing an unfair amount of variants compared to the NSFW ones.
This has been due to the NSFW section not having been developed on in favor of the SFW section of the plot, but also due to not taking into consideration that yes, I plan for chapter 3 to have lots of CGs, but that amount has to be distributed between the NSFW and SFW sections.

What I mean by this isn't that I'm going to cut back on the artworks. I mean that next week will likely be dedicated to finishing some CGs, at least the easier ones that require no variants.

I'll aim to finish around 5 artworks this next week, if I were to be conservative about it then around 2 or 3 will be finished and the remaining will be close to being complete by the last day. Which is still half the planned CGs being nearly done, that's still great.
