Hello there!

As you guys know, since the start of this month I've been mostly busy with working with MonsterBox to release new visual novel content.
And now that "Bad End Wonderland"  is close to complete and may launch anytime now, we can go back to finishing this ambitious project that is chapter 3!

Progress status

Okay so, sit down with me and let's check how far we're at:

One more CG has been finished, as well as a character sprite and some writing! It's the same as last status update. Aiaiai.
So half of the writing is locked in for sure, the last music track is a calmer remake of an existing track, last background's an office space and I think it's actually 10 character sprites instead of 11?

And just today, I finished up sketching the next CG artwork:

You know things got spicy when we whip out the poggerino (It's not actually covering any lady bits at that position actually, I just wanted to have poggerino25 in the image).

So essentially the main progress hangs on finishing the sex scene, which is half of the experience I have planned out. But the writing can't continue unless I know how many variants in the artwork I can work with. But I don't know how many variants I'll have if I don't... write. Hmm.
Egg or chicken situation here, I think I'll just use the writing phase to determine how many artwork variants I'll draw. That can get dangerous though, if I get ambitious and have too many variants. So I'll have to keep that in mind.

Conclusion

Something that's been on my mind is how fast am able to work. The development time between chapter 1, 2 and 3 zigzags a lot.

I found an issue with working as fast as I could while working on "Bad End Wonderland". It's that if I speed myself up a lot, I may get a project done quicker, but immediately afterwards everything hurts for a loooong time. And when you're in pain from several parts of your body at once, writing the hanky panky becomes really hard. You'd think "come on it's just writing sex" but no, it legit becomes impossible to concentrate. So my productivity spiked for a week but has been low since, due to recovering from the strain of working too hard.

But on the other hand, chapter 3's been in production for a long time relative to the other chapters. And it's a story I really wanna bring to you guys, I really like how it progressed right now. So it's natural that I feel I have to strain myself to get this chapter out faster.

What I mean to say is, thank you for your patience and understanding. The chapter hasn't been abandoned, and I aim to bring you the conclusion to the story as soon as I can, within my body's limits. Thank you for reading these devlogs and for keeping up with the progress.

For this next week I aim to finish two CGs and to hopefully finish writing their respective scenes. Progress should speed up from now on!
